Beginning today, November 7, JB Weather will transition from just purely a Southern Maryland weather information source, to serving the entire Mid-Atlantic. Since JB Weather's inception in June of 2013, I have always tried my hardest to provide concise and consistent weather information for my community. Over the past three years of doing JB Weather, I'd like to think that I've been able to carry out that very mission. My life is now taking me on a new journey, one that has me re-locating to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This is in part to continue my work towards my meteorology degree. This means that JB Weather will be growing, so I can still benefit from own forecasts, as well as those in my new community. So what about Southern Maryland? Am I just going to leave you all in the dust? No worries, I have a solution. While yes, JB Weather will transition into a regional weather source for the entire Mid-Atlantic, I will continue updates and forecasts specific to Southern MD. There is a tab now on the website, where you will be able to find SoMD specific information, such a school closings and updated 3 day forecasts, and yes, the beloved School Odds! While this was not an easy decision to make, knowing that some loyal followers may be upset, I feel that this is what's best. Below is a map of the new coverage area for JB Weather. The same accurate forecasts will be available, just to way more people now. Please, continue to follow JB Weather for weather updates, and share the word about this organization, that I have worked so hard to build up! Now your friends and family from all over the Mid-Atlantic will have access to my forecasts! -John A. Bordash
